Ad Council wanted a Windows 8 ad that would both educate the user about TEACH.org while also drive home the message that teaching is more of an exciting and fulfilling career choice than ever before. The Windows 8 custom advertisement includes a “Personality Quiz” to identify users’ interests and encourage them consider teaching a relevant subject as well as games that challenge users to test their logic and reasoning skills. There are multiple opportunities to watch PSAs and other videos from the TEACH.org website and access to an interactive pathway on TEACH.org to explore the teaching profession.
As lead PM on this project, I negotiated the initial schedule, features, and design with an internal design team, and then oversaw its development through a PM who managed the day-to-day development scrums for this 3-month project.
